How placements stay honest

Overview

AdSpace is a profile ad marketplace. Creators list the first line of their X bio, the profile link, and/or timeline posts. Brands book a slot or send an offer to any @handle. Checkout funds the listed or bid price into Solana escrow — there is no extra platform charge at checkout. AdSpace keeps 5% from each verified release; the creator receives the other 95%.

How it works

Four loops, in order: the buyer funds, escrow holds, we verify the live placement, and the creator is paid as that time stays honest. Unused time is refunded if the creator disconnects, fails checks, or is disqualified.

Booking

Bio and URL are exclusive. The next booking for an overlapping slot is first-come: it queues and goes live when the current duration ends. A Bio+URL booking occupies both. Posts do not occupy the profile — they are priced per scheduled tweet and can stack; a post booking starts as soon as it is funded and approved.

Listed price is the creator's published rate. Buyers who click Rent slot pay that price into escrow. Offers let anyone bid on any @handle, including profiles that are not selling or have not joined yet. The offer total is funded before it is open. Unclaimed handles are not on the homepage or default Explore; they appear under Explore → Offers only when someone has actually funded a bid. When that person Connects X they inherit every open funded offer and can accept. Rejecting, cancelling, or letting an unused offer sit 24 hours without a response refunds the buyer in full with no fee.

Cancellations

Once a creator accepts, neither side can cancel. Vest releases only after a successful verify — a failed window pays the creator nothing. If the post is deleted, the placement is gone, or verify never recovers, leftover unreleased escrow refunds to the buyer less 5%. Already-paid creator releases stay. The 5% already reserved on what vested stays with the protocol. Referrals pay only when the booking completes the full term with the placement still verified at the end. Campaign seats use the same split.

If a creator rejects a paid request that has not gone live, or does not accept or reject within 24 hours, the buyer is refunded in full immediately with no fee and no platform or referral take.

After the post is live, the creator’s 95% budget vests over 7 days while the tweet stays on X: 50% drips across verified 10-minute windows in the first 24 hours, 25% unlocks at 48 hours if that window verifies, and the last 25% unlocks at 7 days if that window verifies. Failed verifies pay the creator nothing for that window. The 5% protocol reserve is out of the drip pool from the start. Deleting the post, or a verify that never recovers, stops remaining vest — leftover escrow is refunded to the buyer less 5%. Amounts already paid to the creator stay. Referrals pay only if the booking completes the full term.

Payment distribution

The buyer pays the listed or offered price. AdSpace reserves 5% immediately; vesting drips only the remaining 95% creator budget. Bio and URL drip in 10-minute windows while the placement stays verified — not as a lump at the end.

Standalone posts vest for 7 days after the tweet id is stored, while the tweet stays on X: 50% drips across verified 10-minute windows in the first 24 hours, 25% unlocks at 48 hours, and the last 25% unlocks at 168 hours (7 days). Campaign enrollments that include posts follow the campaign booking drip, not this standalone vest.

Referrals

Referral cuts come only out of the realized 5% platform fee. The buyer still pays the listed price; the creator still gets 95%. Level 1 (the direct referrer) receives 10% of that fee. Each ancestor up the referral chain gets half of the previous hop — 5%, 2.5%, 1.25%, and so on, with no fixed depth. All cuts on one fee event are capped at 20% of the platform fee (1% of GMV). Remainder stays with the platform.

Cuts are tracked in USDC atoms so a 10-minute 1¢ fee window can still accrue a 10% L1. Dust below 1¢ stays pending while the booking is live and flushes when it reaches at least 1¢, or when the booking ends. Attribution splits the event's fee across the claimed buyer and seller parties that have a payable ancestor. Unclaimed hops still occupy a level so a placeholder cannot inflate someone's rate. Opening a public profile is not a referral — use the /r/@handle link.

Payouts

Listing a profile and accepting offers requires Complete Connection — read and write access to X — so we can confirm the sponsored bio, link, or post and restore them if they are removed. AdSpace never has write access until you grant it.

Pay with the mints that creator accepts: USDC, SOL, and/or listed tokens. Payouts go to the creator's Solana address as verified time is released, trying those accepted mints from escrow. Scheduled posts use Eastern Time. Buyers do not pick a timezone.

Campaigns & cabals

Browse open campaigns on Explore, or create one from the header. Brands fund a budget, invite specific profiles, and/or auto-qualify creators by reach, niche, and trust. Creators choose which placements they will run — bio, URL, and/or posts. Posts go out on the creator's schedule in Eastern Time. Escrow, verification, and payouts work like a normal booking.

Creators can form a cabal, invite friends who already have an AdSpace handle, and list one daily package rate. Brands hire the whole group in a single escrowed payment; active members split the creator share. A cabal needs at least two active members before it is bookable. Unclaimed profiles cannot be added. Escrow, verification, and trust

Buyers fund the listed price into escrow — no extra platform charge at checkout. Funds stay locked while the placement is live. Creators receive 95% as verified time accrues; AdSpace retains 5% from each release. See the escrow vault for live balances.

While a rental is live we run ongoing checks against the funded placement. If the bio or link is changed, we restore it when auto-restore is on, pause that interval's payout, and lower trust. Repeated tampering can disqualify remaining earnings. Creators are paid throughout the rental while the slot stays verified — not only when it ends.

Ad disclosure policy

Every bio ends with #Ad. Timeline posts use X’s official Paid partnership label instead of a hashtag. Fill-space bio ads append into leftover characters; override ads replace the bio and restore the snapshot when the rental ends. AdSpace.bio is not affiliated with X Corp. Creators are responsible for complying with advertising and endorsement rules in their jurisdiction.
